Publication Ethic

Journal of Language and Literacy Learning (J3L) adheres to the ethical standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers must commit to maintaining high ethical standards throughout the publication process.

1. Responsibilities of Authors

  • Ensure originality of work and proper citation of all sources.
  • Do not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously.
  • List only those who contributed significantly as authors.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest and funding sources.
  • Report all research findings honestly, without manipulation.

2. Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Maintain objectivity and confidentiality during the review process.
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback.
  • Declare any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Avoid using information from the manuscript for personal advantage.

3. Responsibilities of Editors

  • Make unbiased decisions based on manuscript merit.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle submissions with fairness.
  • Take action when ethical complaints or plagiarism are reported.
  • Ensure a transparent and efficient peer review process.

4. Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts submitted to J3L are screened using plagiarism detection tools. Manuscripts with more than 25% similarity index will be returned to the authors for revision or rejection.

5. Misconduct Handling

Suspected research or publication misconduct will be investigated by the editorial team following COPE guidelines. If confirmed, appropriate corrective actions will be taken, including retractions or notices of concern.
